Our flight back home is not scheduled until Monday the 20
th. Thursday night we ate at the Mobile Yacht Club which is right across the street from Dog River Marina. The
remaining few days were spent with various chores. The courtesy car was put to use. The laundromat is a few miles down the road so laundry was the order of the day for the girls. Lots quicker than
using the
onboard washer/dryer. There is a West Marine store on site so I had a small list of items that I procured-nothing urgent but this was the first available opportunity. The people at Dog River marina took us to the airport and the driver was delivering another transient boater to the dentist. A very transient friendly marina! The flight home was uneventful and Don & Sharon's daughter picked us up in Indianapolis. The time at home was spent going to Dentists, Doctors etc. Judy was host to our usual family get together at Thanksgiving. She didn't miss a beat and the turkey and oyster dressing were great as usual. After Thanksgiving, Judy's sister Jane visited as well as her brother Mike and his wife
Roxyann and we all celebrated her birthday. The picture is of Judy and Jane at
Bday party. Jane is holding up a 1 and I won't reveal which "1" it is. The flight back to Mobile on the 29
th was easy. We did not take much home and we had sent a box ahead of us via UPS that contained a store shopping list we had accumulated over the weeks. Arrival back at the marina found that most other
loopers have departed. There are a few others here (at least their boats are here).
Lolligag and Passport. The boats maintenance work was accomplished. Friday the 30
th was spent getting in groceries in preparation for our trip across the Florida panhandle. I spent some time in the afternoon punching in some
gps waypoints for our trip across Mobile Bay as well as taking the mechanic on a sea trial so he could put his final stamp of okay on the work that he had done. The weather looks good for a morning departure

Jim and Judy, I doubt you will be looking for lunch as you pass through Gulf Shores on the Intracoastal, but if you are...stop and tie up at Lulu's. It's a restaurant right on the intracoastal, just east of the Alabama highway 59 bridge over the waterway. Lulu is Jimmy Buffet's sister. They have a dock there and some great food!!
