March 31-April 3 2008 Marsh Harbor Abacos
Today the major project was cleaning the canvas on the flybridge. It is a messy job as the weather is conducive to mildew formation under the top and around the zippers. X-14 mold and mildew remover dissolves the mildew easily but it is an old clothes job as I usually end up with several holes that the X-14 places in my tee shirt. Today April Fools day is the Yacht Club beach party. Games on the beach as well as hot dogs and hamburgers as well as the famous open bar (no bartender pour your own) all for 10 bucks. Party started at 4pm with beach games. No winners here but lots of laughs. After dinner the Conch Horn Blowing contest was held and Gail from Our Time was a winner and won the best sounding horn competition. After the party we celebrated Gail's victory with Key Lime pie on their boat. Their guests, Jim & Ruth from Canada will be leaving tomorrow. Nothing too exciting in the last couple of days. Sadly Judy is stocking the fridge and freezer for our expected departure on Sunday or Monday.
