Monday was St. Patrick's day. All of the docks got together for a potluck and each boat was assigned something to bring. Silver Foxes brought corned beef, which Judy purchased from the local grocery earlier in the week. Great crowd and the celebration was held under the tent. Judy had a green martini and John and I brought our green beer. We wanted to bring a small keg but nobody had any here so we had to settle for a little food coloring in the Bud Light. Today Tuesday, I rode the foldie to town to get a haircut at the local beauty saloon. As I left and rode down the ramp and avoided the resident dog that didn't move, I met up with one of those parking lot car stops and took a tumble over the handle bars. No serious damage other than a few cuts and bruises and a demolished pair of glasses. I rode on home without further incident and then Judy applied several band aids and disenfect to what I considered my minor scratches. Tonight we had surf & turf on our boat with John & Gail. The surf part of it was stone crabs that Mitch & Barb gave us back in Englewood. They were good, but not as good as when Mitch fixed them for us when we were at his house. Tomorrow we are headed back to Indiana. We will leave about noon. As part of our baggage, we will be carrying mail for other boaters to be mailed when we get to the states. If you mail anything from here to the States it takes 7-10 days to get there. Will let you know when we are back on the water again. We will be gone about a week.
