We are now out of Low Country. Our trip to North Myrtle Beach on the ICW was uneventful. No shoaling to worry about. The odometer turned past 5000 miles as we cruised along. To date we have traveled 5026 sm. We are seeing civilization again. The ICW becomes narrower and lots of homes along the waterway especially the farther north we go. Barefoot Landing is right next to a huge outdoor shopping complex . Just step out our boat door and there are stores and restaurants aplenty. Rain, high winds, & thunderstorms are predicted for the next few three days so we will stay in port. Sunday morning we awoke to a steady rain along with the thundershowers. By noon the weather cleared and a taxi took us to the grocery. It is Bike Week here in Myrtle Beach-- there are supposed to be 500,000 bikes here by next weekend. We have enjoyed a constant parade of bikes riding by the marina. While we were at the grocery store Judy bought a bandanna. I am keeping my eye on her so she doesn't run off and get a tattoo. I think she wants to blend in with the Biker Babes. Mothers day lunch at the Crab House and a scrumptious dinner at Greg Norman's Australian Grill. Monday we will hang out while the wind is supposed to blow 30-40 mph. A long walk is on my agenda on Monday to stretch out those sea legs. Our last night here Judy and I went to the Alabama theater to watch a lively musical performance called ONE
