May 9 Georgetown SC mm 453

After 2 nights at anchor we pull into Harborwalk Marina in Georgetown. New floating docks. A town that is both pretty and old. Some very old homes. After an early afternoon arrival Judy and I take a stroll around town to view some of the older homes. Downtown was an old fashioned little department store that had some good prices so Judy and I bought a few new duds. Must not have been a Wal-Mart close to run them out of business. There was a paper mill nearby that kind of ruined the freshness of the evening. Reminded me of my college days in Terre Haute. Dinner was at the River Room. Lots of boats anchored in the harbor, some in not such good shape
