John & Gail took a lay day to recover from the heat. Judy and I pressed on and travelled to the Art & Portrait Museum. Pictured above (middle) is an appropriate picture from the museum but don't ask me to interpret. Tonight (Thursday) Sharon Jackson our neighbor from Decatur who lives in Indianapolis and is on special assignment for the Justice Department in DC came over to the boat. After cocktails with John and Gail and Sharon we had an enjoyable dinner on the boat with Sharon (pictured above). The evening was late and I walked Sharon to her car after 11pm. Another warm day
Today, Friday, our plans were to go to the Zoo and Union Station, but time got away from us so we only made it to Union Station, a very grand train station, and then across the street to the Postal Museum. After this, I got out the foldie and John and I traveled to the grocery store which is only a short distance away. After the grocery, us bikers, went to the fish market to get some shrimp and tuna in preparation for our guests tonight Mike and Cathy Cahill from Xplorer. They live nearby and have just completed the loop and thus have earned their gold looper flag. All six of us had a great evening on our boat
