June 21-22 Doziers Yachting Center Deltaville Va

The weather is somewhat unsettled with thunderstorms being predicted for late afternoon today. Our plan was to travel a short distance to anchor in another nearby cove, staying on the east side of the Chesapeake. After listening to the weather forecast, where the wind is supposed to pick up and make for crossing the Bay that can get gnarly at times, we decide to make the crossing today and a long run of some fifty miles to anchor in Broad Creek near Deltaville VA. As we get closer to Broad Creek that threat of thunderstorms and high winds seems to again alter our plans so we decide to go into Dozier's marina. Very nice facility with a swimming pool and great veranda on their clubhouse. A wine tasting party was held by the local Yacht Club and we were invited. 2 nights we are here. It is oil changing time again so I take advantage of the time. 750 engine hours since leaving Port Clinton
