June 23-26 Deltaville Marina Deltaville VA

We move from Broad Creek to Jackson Creek both near Deltaville. We probably could walk it in 10 minutes but by boat it is over an hour. Judy and said to each other it is kind of sad that this will be our last boat trip for awhile. Then Judy remembers she is going home, and she is ready! Lots to do to pack up and clean up. We will be shipping a lot of stuff home UPS. Some things we have not used so home they go. I also work on a pesky water leak that has been plaguing me for sometime near the seawater pump on the generator. A NAPA store is a short bike ride away to get the necessary heater type water hose. After some persistence the leak is fixed. Then onto changing the secondary fuel filters on the Yanmars. Port engine goes okay. Starboard engine not so well, as I didn't get the air bled properly. So I have to loosen the fittings going to the injectors and again with some persistence the engine fires up. On Tuesday evening we go to Kocomo's restaurant with Gail & John. They leave Wednesday early to go home. Today Thursday they are to pull our boat. This is a very busy yard and it didn't get pulled until 4pm. Probably just as well as the temperature hit 95 this afternoon and once the boat is pulled the AC is useless. No air this evening and it is still very hot. We are sleeping on the boat on the hard. Our ride to Richmond Airport leaves at 4 am tomorrow. The pictures are just some recent pictures and have nothing to do with Deltaville. This is my last post on the blog. I hope you have enjoyed it. Sometimes it has been hard to get in the mood to write, but your words of encouragement motivated me. It has been a blast and memories will last a lifetime!
