The weather looks good to travel to Marsh Harbour on Great Abaco island for the next 3 days. We make the trip to Great Sale Cay under bright skies and and a light wind. The water is so clear you can see the bottom at 20'. The white sand bottom reminds us of why we came here. There are four boats travelling about the same speed-besides our self and Our Time there is Puffin and Lo Que Se A both 37' great Harbor Trawlers. The anchorage at Great Sale is miles from nowhere. The next morning all four boats are off early and we all travel about the same speed and we are headed for Manjack Cay and in particular a neat little anchorage near Rat Cay. It is still isolated but near the town of Coopers. Some kind cottage owner provides wifi service for the boats anchored here. It is a beautiful anchorage. last year we launched our dinghies and went ashore. You can walk through a path to the Atlantic Ocean and view the magnificent shoreline and waves breaking onshore. On Saturday we anxiously arise to travel some 30 miles to our destination where we will have our boat based until next April. The major obstacle to this passage is the 'whale'. It is an area where you pass through that is totally exposed to the whims of the Atlantic Ocean--in particular a wind from the North to East. The wind was supposed to be from the south but instead it was blowing lightly from the east producing slight rollers as we passed through the whale. Arrival time at Boat Harbor at the Abaco beach Resort was just before noon. It took awhile to get all four boats tied up but there is never a shortage of willing hands to help you dock. I did not stop at Man O War Cay to have my canvas looked at as I have found someone in Marsh harbour that will take a look at it. The rest of the day was spent getting Silver Foxes washed down and adjusting the lines. The tide is about 3' here. It was good to see lots of familiar faces as we docked. The picture of the boat is Lo Que Se A as she traveled with us. The other two pictures were taken at the Old Bahama Bay Resort by Dan on Freedom who was docked next to us
