Everyone is anticipating the Commodore's Ball which will take place on Friday. The theme is Mardi Gras. We shopped for our masks and beads before we left. In the meantime it was dinner on Libations (Mike & Pat) and a trip to Hopetown to anchor overnight. John & Gail (Our Time)had guests on their boat, Mike & Janice, so we traveled together to Hopetown and had lunch at the Hopetown lodge which overlooks the Atlantic. The Commodores ball was everything it was expected to be. Its true purpose is for the changing of the guard at the Yacht club but in reality it is an excuse for everyone on the boats and on land to get dressed up and have a good time. The top picture shows Judy with one of the waitstaff. The next picture is Judy with our friends Tom & Patsy Conrad (True North)from the panhandle of Florida who were visiting some other friends in the Bahamas. The bottom picture is some of the girl's on the dock before the ball. Judy, Janice, Gail and Sherrie from ChiptkaFire.
