The long awaited Pirates Ball has arrived. Gail has worked all summer to make outfits for everybody including the kids. It would be hard to select the best dressed but without a doubt our group would have won the best dressed prize. Don't know how them pirates got along with an eyepatch but it certainly was a handicap. Judy got a lot of compliments on her long red hair. Dancing ended at the boatly hour of 10pm but some people went to party on the beach and howl at the nearly full moon while others retired to the boat to have coffee.

March 14, 2009 Saturday Morning in New Hampshire.....

J & J,
I am living through your adventures! It is a delight to read everything, I feel like I've just been on the most wonderful vacation in just 15 minutes! I love the pirates costumes! My first reaction was "who are these people??" then I saw some familiar features peeping through. Agreed that Judy's red hair is sensational!
We are just beginning to thaw out from a record snowfall this winter and Bob and I are about to take a walk on the beach--sunny and 47 degrees here--wow, almost like summer!
Keep on having a good time--it does us all good!
Love, Sherry
