Barb & Mitch's son John Departing |
The Anchorage Resort where we are staying is a little old but has a nice pool, Tennis Court and is near Key Largo. There could be a lot worse places to be stranded. The "Recovery Room" where Mitch, Barb and John are staying is a nice one bedroom suite. Were in the Keys Mon so life is great! Mitch is now on the road to recovery from the flu but he will throw his back out shortly. He was prepared for such an occurrence as he has some meds to help him recover. John and Barb take their newly borrowed dinghy for a lengthy ride and toward the end of the excursion the dinghy dies not to be restarted again. Thats another project when Mitch recovers
The shrimp are running right through the Marina here at night. The locals get the lights out and one was very generous to lend me a shrimp net. (A long handled fine mesh landing net). So catch shrimp we did. We have had fresh shrimp almost every evening for cocktails

John has rented a car to fly home so we had a car available for a few hours on Saturday so Judy and Barb went to the Grocery and I picked up a few supplies at West Marine. We will be here for awhile
