As we found our way from Portsmouth to the mouth of the Chesapeake we passed by many Naval Warships. They all have a number and not a name so they identify themselves by number. The Chesapeake Bay was not too kind to us today. The wind was out of the north at only 10-15 knots but since the Bay essentially runs north and south, the north wind built up 2-3' waves and a 5'er every now and then to wash off the anchor. All in all not a pleasant ride. We did pass in front of Naval Warship 87 out on the bay. Our Time was traveling behind us and Captain Gail was advised by Warship 87 to hold back and not get too close. Deltaville is a small town and marina inside of a very protected harbor on the western shore approximately 45 miles up the Chesapeake. TomKat greeted us as we docked
