October 14-15 Deltaville VA

On Tuesday John and Judy went to a 7am Rotary club meeting. I had breakfast with Carolyn and then I took her to the soup kitchen at their church and then used their car again. If by now you are confused with all the John's, I will add one more to the picture. John Thomassen, our friends from the boat, Our Time, is also at the Deltaville Boatyard. John came several weeks ago and is working on his boat. His wife Gail was to join him and we were to head south today but Gail had to have some medical tests so she won't be joining us until the 22nd. In any event with the help of John Wake Sr's car John T and I were off to the nearby town of Glouchester for some boat parts. Later in the day Silver Foxes was splashed. Everything appears to be working and the Yanmar diesel engines were like horses champing at the bit-a touch of the starter button and they were purring away. Our first night on the water again. On Wednesday all systems were checked and we are ready to rock and roll. Judy fixed a great supper on the boat and our guests were John & Carolyn and John T. Pictured above L to R is unknown lady, Carolyn Wake, John Sr., John Jr., and Sharon Wake. Below Silver Foxes ready to be launched
