October 16-17 Fishing Bay Anchorage
One of the neat things about the Chesepeake bay area is all of the neat river, creeks and coves that allow some great protected water anchorages. One of those great coves is Fishing Bay, a stone's throw away from Deltaville marina but several miles by boat. Silver Foxes shoved away from the dock on a bright sunny day with temperatures in the 70's headed for Fishing Bay. We snuggled up next to the shoreline protected from the expected strong north winds that will be arriving tomorrow. Judy and I spent the next couple of days catching up on store business and personal business that had been neglected for a few days. We will be gunkholing (anchoring out) until Our Time's boat is launched after Gail arrives.
